Kobe, Lakers are back to the NBA finals

Kobe scored 39pts - 17 in the 4th quarter - and the Lakers rallied from a 17pt deficit to reach the NBA finals for the first time since 2004.
Gasol had a career playoffs high 19rbds & Odom contributed for 13pts & 8rbds as L.A won 100-92 vs the Spurs.

San Antonio lead by 17 midway the 2nd quarter but L.A came within 6 just before halftime. They kept playing with their late intensity and took the lead for good entering the final quarter. The Lakers will face Boston or Detroit in the NBA finals - both teams combined for three wins in four games vs the Lakers this year, but all came before the Gasol trade. L.A is now 12-3 in the playoffs - the best record so far this postseason.
