Lakers overcome 20pt deficit to win game 1 over Spurs

Midway the third quarter, the Lakers found themselves in a tough situation, trailing 65-45. With only four points in as many shots taken, Kobe suddenly came alive, scoring 23pts and leading his team to a furious come back. The Lakers stole game 1 with a convincing rally, defeating the Spurs 89-85.

Kobe scored 25 of his 27pts in the 2nd half to spark a great come back by the Lakers. They outscored the Spurs 24 to 13 in the final quarter, highlighting by Kobe go-ahead jumper with 24 seconds left.

Gasol scored 19pts and the Lakers overcome a 30pt 18rbd effort by Tim Duncan to take a 1-0 lead in the WCF.
