Kobe youngest in history to reach 20 000

Kobe droped 39pts - his highest scoring game since his opening night- in his return to MSG to break the 20 000pt mark in his career.

KB helped his team winning for the 8th time in ten games. Bynum, who grew up in New Jersey, had 13pts. The game was particular for Kobe, who was suspended in last year matchup and unable to play in what he calls his favorite arena. Making history in his come back was even sweater. He reached 20 000pts on a 3 pointer, breaking Chamberlain record (29 years 122 days to 29 years & 34 days). Jordan accomplished the feat in 29 years & 326 days.
